Kinesiology – Aligning you wholistically
Kinesiology is more than just a therapy—it’s a conversation with your body. By combining muscle testing with gentle, holistic techniques and my intuition, it reveals the root causes of stress, discomfort, and imbalance —whether physical, emotional, or biochemical—that are disrupting your wellbeing.
Instead of guessing what’s needed, kinesiology lets your body lead the way, revealing solutions uniquely tailored to you. Your session is tailored, precise, and deeply personal—because your body already knows what it needs. Kinesiology simply helps you listen.
Think of it as the difference between using a map and having a GPS—other modalities can guide you in the right direction, but kinesiology takes you straight to the source.
Many clients tell me kinesiology is hard to explain—but it works. So much so, they usually just say to friends: “You’ve got to try it.”
What is kinesiology?
Kinesiology is an energy based modality which is grounded in Eastern philosophies such as the Meridian & 5 Element systems as well as the Western understanding of Anatomy and Physiology.

One of the main principles of Kinesiology is that the body (and mind) has an innate ability to heal itself. Using your own body and mind, Kinesiology “taps” into that self healing energy. The people we work with are often living with emotional and/or physical pain.
The use of acupoints helps to deactivate programming that signals the limbic system. This reduces its arousal supporting you to be calm, clearer, more decisive and less emotionally reactive.
Kinesiologists are energy medicine specialists, who emphasis is on health maintenance, client education and responsibility by identifying the causative influences triggering health imbalances. Anything a Kinesiologist does (or suggests the client does) is to restore health, wellness and vitality, therefore enhancing the clients innate healing energies.
Chinese medicine is built on the foundation of: “bu tong ze tong, tong ze bu tong” which roughly translates “if there is no free flow, there is pain; if there is free flow, there is no pain.” Relating to the “Chi” we all possess, which is our life force.
Such energy which energises and nourishes our body and mind and is transported through our body via the meridian system. Chi is vital to our well being, so when our life force energy is flowing, we have a healthy and balanced mind and body.
Disruption to our flow of life energy can be caused by poor diet, lack of exercise, poor breathing and posture, scar tissue as well as other physical or psychological stresses. Therefore when blockages occur they impede the flow of our life force energy which can result in emotional, spiritual or physical disorders and/or illness.

Principles of Kinesiology
A Kinesiologist believes in a methodology called the “triad of health”. Which means that well being and health is dependent on the harmonious congruency and balance between a client’s Physical / Structural, Emotional / Mental and Nutritional / Chemical aspects.
When one aspect of the triad of health is imbalanced, then it affects the other sides and therefore areas in our life. For example a person who chronically worries (mental) may lose their appetite (nutrition is affected) or experience irregularities in their body (physical).
Via muscle monitoring, a Kinesiologist uses the clients own biofeedback system, along with their experience and training, to determine any energy imbalances / stresses the client has towards the particular goal / outcome they are working on.
The Kinesiologist, again working with the client’s biofeedback, identifies what is required in order for the stress / imbalance to be removed so that balance can be restored.
Stresses can be chemical, nutritional, physical, structural, mental and/or spiritual. Therefore either a specific exercise, action and/or nutritional supplement may be required in order to restore balance.
Kinesiology is an efficient modality which can have lasting results. Although with that said whilst we unwind the built up “stressors” that happens in life, life still happens and stress can therefore re-wind in.
Ideal outcomes may be achieved in one session although at times it can take more than one. And I believe, like most things in life, it is ideal when you achieved your intention/s that you have maintenance sessions to support maintaining it.
Many people live their lives managing their dissatisfaction/s, whether that is on a physical, mental, emotional level. Kinesiology can help bring such dissatisfactions to the surface and give people tools to lead empowered lives.
